Just a few notes on this site’s privacy policies:
- You’re required to leave your email address in order to register, send an email, or post a comment. This email is only used to notify you if I post a reply; neither it, nor any other email address I obtain from this blog will ever be sold or given away to any third-party without your express written individual permission. And I don’t expect to ever ask.
- This site uses third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our Web site. These companies may use information (not including your name, address email address or telephone number) about your visits to this and other Web sites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.
- This site leaves a small cookie in your browser that anonymously tracks the number of times you visit the site over a two-week period. It’s used to reduce the number of ads seen by “regular visitors”, defined as more than 3 visits in a two-week period.
- Anonymous visitation and browsing statistics are collected by three different services: Google Analytics, Sitemeter, and Quantcast. They also may leave cookies on your browser to anonymously track things like whether you’re a new or return visitor, and how long it’s been since your last visit.
