1. Click on the “Donate” button below (not the one above) to pay the $20 subscription fee via PayPal. PayPal accepts credit cards worldwide, and bank transfers in the US and some countries. If you use the bank transfer option instead of credit card, I’ll extend the subscription period to 13 months instead of 12.
2. Within 72 hours, you’ll receive your username (your email address), and a password you can use to login to the site. Go to the Free Geography Tools website, click on the “Register” button at the upper-right, and you’ll get this form:
Click on the Login link at the bottom, and you’ll bring up the Login form:
Enter your username and password, and click on Login. You’ll be taken to a screen where you can modify your password and onscreen user name if you like, and add additional optional info. If you make changes, save them, then click on “View site” at the top to return to the main Free Geography Tools page. As long as you don’t log out, and you have cookies enabled, the site will recognize you automatically as a registered user, ads will be suppressed automatically, and you won’t have to log in again. If you do log out and log in, check the “Remember me” box to save your Username and Password.
3. If you really want to see the ads again, just log out from the site (click on the Admin button at the upper right).
