I deleted the first copy that I downloaded and retried the download and it didn't detect any problems. Sorry for the false alarm.

The NYS maps are really very nice, but appear to be missing a map grid for part of the Catskill Park near Woodstock. I contacted the people at GPS File Depot to see if this was and error or intentional.

I did a virus scan on my copy of the NY topos with Avast, and it didn't find such a worm. Sometimes anti-virus programs can get a false positive; try scanning it with a different program.
