A couple of new Garmin GPS mapsets that I just noticed from the list at the GPS File Depot:
- Street maps for 20 US states (Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Wyoming; I suspect more will be added with time). Not hosted by GPS File Depot. Based on the description, these are likely based on US Census TIGER data, so accuracy will vary depending on location, but should be good enough everywhere for basic navigation.
- US state and county boundaries, based on US Census shapefile data. These are transparent .img files, so they can be overlayed and displayed on top of other Garmin maps. Install files available for both PC and Mac.
