US government links sometimes don't work for visitors outside the US, and that might be the problem here. EGNOS is similar to WAAS, and enabling it in Europe will have the same benefits in improving accuracy (as well using MSAS, a similar system in Japan). Many units that support WAAS will also receive EGNOS signals as well. Waas are probaly useful in US, but is there any benefit of enabling this (egnos) in Europe. Remember so earlier discussions on this...
