Where, and in what format, would the GPS data be coming from if not from a commercial GPS unit? I don't understand your question. And the program is designed to work with Google Earth, not Google Maps.

Is there a way that I can import GPS RS232 data without using commercial GPS units? For example can I import RS232 data to a serial port that the goops program will recognize?
Also will it be the :google maps with GPS tracking that it will opperate with?
Your comments will be appreciated.
